Introduction

Our simple and straight forward approach to ECGs allows all practitioners to understand and utilise this skill-set in all healthcare settings. This subject tends to cause a lot of anxiety for practitioners but our approach makes it easier to understand and allows practitioners to make sound clinical decisions ensuring patient safety. Our approach uses some of the technology available plus some visual cues. Our trainer Lee Wadsworth facilitates ECG training workshops in the UK and globally.

ECG Interpretation Courses are available:

ONLINE RECORDED - for individual members of staff with 3 months access to online recorded materials.

HYBRID COURSE - 1 day Zoom virtual training day then months access to online course recorded course.

Course content includes:

  • Introduction and the basics.

  • Cardiac conduction.

  • PQRST.

  • Using the technology.

  • The rhythm strip.

  • Sinus Rhythm, Sinus Bradycardia and Tachycardia.

  • Heart blocks.

  • Atrial fibrillation.

  • Bundle branch blocks.

  • Left ventricular hypertrophy.

  • Myocardial ischaemia.

  • Myocardial infarction.

  • Wolf parkinson white syndrome.

  • QT prolongation.

  • ECG examples.
